Rajine Williams, a multimedia artist and educator based in the Twin Cities, centers her creative pursuits on exploring Black women's femininity, body, and identity. Her coined aesthetic, 'Afrocentric Eclectic,' encapsulates a synthesis of pride in Black womanhood. After graduating with a B.A. in Art from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, Rajine is pursuing her master's in visual arts/K-12 licensure at Augsburg University in Minneapolis, MN. Her diverse artistic portfolio spans drawing, painting, sculpture, and filmmaking, employing 3D elements and found/recycled objects.

Beyond her role as a practicing artist, Rajine extends her expertise to teach art across various age groups, backgrounds, and creeds. Her teaching style involves setting specific themes or goals and fostering creative exploration without rigid preconceptions about the outcome. Embracing subjectivity over objectivity, she leads by example, encouraging participants to interpret and represent their perceptions freely.

Central to Rajine's mission is connecting with youth who share her background. Having navigated a predominantly white upbringing, she understands the challenges faced by young Black individuals in shaping their perspectives. Rajine aspires to be a bridge for BIPOC youth, providing a space where they can discover, create, and explore their creativity without fear of exclusion or defensiveness. Her dedication reflects a commitment to fostering inclusivity and empowerment through the transformative potential of art and education.
