People Incorporated provides free public Artability Workshops in Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Artability provides a space for people to tap into their creativity, free of expectations or judgments. Our workshops and art shows are designed to be accessible to all, regardless of previous experience or ability. The arts can be a powerful tool for self-expression, healing, personal growth, and a bit of fun. Each workshop includes art materials to share and the opportunity to paint, play, and learn together with other artists. A teaching artist is available to help answer questions, offer guidance, and provide feedback on the participants’ work. A mental illness diagnosis is not required to attend, and you must be at least 18 years old.
I was contracted to teach classes through the summer of 2023 to fall of 2023 once a month at George Floyd Square in Minneapolis MN (3736 Chicago Avenue, Minneapolis). The classes are for older youth to adults and for families. The classes are free and materials are provided!
